Managing Director
His Excellency (H.E.) Francisco Daniel Gutierez is a distinguished leader with a diverse
background in academia, marketing, logistics, and diplomacy. Born in San Ignacio Town,
Cayo, H.E. Gutierez’s educational journey began at Rafael Landivar University in Guatemala,
where he earned a Licentiate in Communications and Advertising. He furthered his studies
at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, United States, obtaining a Master’s Degree in International Marketing.
He has held notable positions, including Dean of Sacred Heart College and Junior
College Division, and Marketing, Logistics, Corporate Communications, and Business
Development Manager at Belize Natural Energy Ltd. He has extensive experience in
marketing, public relations, and oil and gas logistics, including the transportation of crude
oil to Central America and the United States Gulf Coast. He also played a significant role
in branding and developing the BNE Liquefied Petroleum Gas project.
H.E. Gutierez has also served as the first chairman of the Belize Natural Energy
Charitable Trust and has been involved in leadership roles within the Belize Chamber of
Commerce and Industry and the Social Investment Fund Board. He is currently the
owner of Page One Limited and co-owner of ThinkTech Ltd., a software development
firm with clients in the United States. Gutierrez has served as Ambassador to the United
States of America and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American
States. Since returning to the private sector in October 2020, he has continued to
contribute to various activities.
Carlos Leon is a highly skilled full-stack developer specializing in web and
mobile app development. With a wealth of experience in the field, Carlos has
successfully delivered projects for various prestigious organizations, including
the Belize Ministry of Education, the Taiwan Mission in Belize, Belize Natural Energy,
and commercial firms in Belize.
